For two decades, Eloah Rocha has been a counselor with the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. In this role, Eloah Rocha has supervised the youth activity center for the siblings of patients at the hospital.
Ms. Rocha’s responsibilities include creating daily activity schedules and monitoring and evaluating childcare staff members. She has also conducted children’s studies on patient-sibling interactions and researched remedial therapy for patient families. She has been involved with numerous research projects that involved monitoring children as they cope with their siblings’ illnesses.
When not working at the hospital, Ms. Rocha’s interests include fundraising for after school programs. She is a homework room helper at an elementary school, and she organizes charitable events for kids with disabilities and women with breast cancer. Her hobbies include swimming, reading, yoga, meditation, long distance running, and biking.
Ms. Rocha has a bachelor’s degree in child psychology from Boulder University. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
